MultiCHEM Fire Extinguisher ID Signs
Fire extinguisher ID signs identify which substance is contained within an extinguisher and the type of fire each fire extinguisher should and should not be used on. This sign is used to identify a MultiCHEM fire extinguisher.
Fire extinguisher signs are required by UK legislation. The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 and the Fire Safety Order 2005 require that fire extinguishers be appropriately signed to indicate their location and the type of fire for which they are suitable. The signs must be clearly visible and legible and include the appropriate graphical symbol of the kind of extinguisher. In addition, the signs must be positioned to be easily seen and accessed in the event of a fire.
